I have used all OnePlus devices (1, 2, X, 3 and 3T.). OnePlus was an experimental startup project from OPPO and now It has turned into a well-established brand name. All Oneplus devices have the killer hardware at the very reasonable price tag, but we all know that powerful hardware alone not enough to make a good piece of technology, software plays an important role too. iPhone is the example and this is where OnePlus failed in the beginning. OnePlus started with Cyanogen OS then they had to move on Hydrogen & Oxygen OS but last year they started merging both Hydrogen and Oxygen OS and the result can be seen in OnePlus 5’s Oxygen OS 4. In this review, I will share everything about OnePlus 5 including some good and bad things about OnePlus 5 comparison in both 6GB and 8GB variants based on my experience. So here we go:————————————–📰 UPDATE (28-06-2017)————————————–OnePlus 5 gets an incremental software update that fixes some bugs.————————————–👊 OnePlus 5 6GB/64GB vs 8GB/128GB————————————–1. IMHO the 6GB RAM is more than enough, the 8GB RAM is a just marketing strategy to grab more attention on their 128GB model, The memory module they used are same and carry the same read/write and copy speed. Hence the performance is same for the both devices.2. You get 52GB user available memory on the 64GB variant and 111GB on the 128GB variant.3. Midnight Black colour exclusively available with 128GB variant which is again to get more attention on 128GB variant as most people love the Black colour.Read more ›

I was really skeptical about the phone coz this is my first OnePlus device, but I couldn’t be happier that I went for it!! This phone is blazing fast, great on performance, awesome camera, nice and loud speakers, crazy fast charging and the fingerprint sensor! May it be daily use, heavy software usage such as Autodesk, may it be gaming, photos, multimedia and what not there seems to be nothing that the OnePlus 5 cannot handle! Kudos to the company for making this one!!

This is my first non Sony phone since 2002, but am still impressed. Sound and display are good. Fastest electronic device I have ever operated on.Would have loved to have electronic image stability for 4K recording however 1080 recording is good. Still not convinced on their 2x lossless zoom.No water resistant, need care when around water. They definitely need to improve on this on their next model without increasing the price, else they should stop calling themselves as flagship killer. No separate tempered glass required as the phone comes with default screen protector over the gorilla glass, which is sufficient. Perhaps a good back cover can be purchased especially to protect the area around the dual camera which protrudes little bit above.Charger is another attractive feature, charges by phone from 36 to 100 in 90 minutes.

I day report:Surprised mildly- look and feel is very different from one plus one i had earlier. Sleek, looks subtly distinguished, elegant, without show-off looks. 6 gb ram is very good, fast.Lots of customizing options-still exploring… Screen looks is a killer, depth of image, even a photo of a photo card appears as if directly shot.Great purchase feel! 🙂

The best phone that much amount of money can buy. It’s blazing fast, pictures are as good as the Samsung S8 or the iPhone 7 plus and the pro mode in the camera gives you the feel of a DSLR. With 6 GB ram and Snapdragon 835 processor, it’s a beast! The pictures taken with this phone are of fabulous quality. Dash charging is the fastest I’ve ever seen. If you are not too fussed about a dim lit notification led, I’d highly recommend this phone. Go for it!

Don’t believe everything you read. There’s no jelly issues with the phone, the only video in which you can see the problem is a FAKE. Hence the original is nowhere to be found.Buy it, if you want no compromises on performance. Don’t be lured by the Honor 8 Pro thinking it’s cheaper because the processor it has is using a old manufacturing process. OP5 is the cheapest phone using the latest manufacturing process that increases performance while reducing battery drain. You get a faster, lag free phone that lasts more than a day under heavy use.PS: get the Karbon Bumper case, from the oneplus site, it’s pricey but when you hold it in your hand it feels amazing!
