As the name says ,its a very big smartphone ,well moreover a phablet. The J7 max was released just last month and I am glad that its already selling online in India. This is actually meant for big screen lovers and user who want an amazing camera. There are many things to like about this phone except the price tag ,which is slightly on the higher. Anyway, It’s made by samsung and that’s pretty much enough to justify the pricing. Now coming to this device:●●●SOME POINTS TO BE NOTED●●●●This is not for single handed usage because of its big screen .Unless you have a mammoth size hand.●The display is 5.7 inch but it’s not AMOLED like most samsung smartphones because they are way better and consume less power. It’s a TFT LCD full HD screen.●If you are not used to a bigger phone, it will take some getting used to.●Looks great, feels like a quality device and is very comfortable to hold. The curved body(smooth edges) and dimple keep it from being unwieldy.●It comes with latest Android 7 (not the most latest version). Which is just amazing to see.●It features MediaTek helio P20 chipset which is 16nm FinFET chipset with Cortex A53 processor clocked at 4 x 2.3GHz and 4 x 1.6GHz. Lots of technical stuff huh! Don’t worry it’s more than enough for daily driver.●It comes with 4GB RAM ,well we usually don’t see this in samsung phones. But I am happy they did it.So no more worries about multitasking.●You can use any 4G sim available in india because it supports volte. I tested it with JIO VOLTE and it works perfectly.●Both sim slots are nano. You have to be prepared with nano sims.●Back CAMERA uses a 13 MP, f/1.7 aperture sensor which is just amazing to see. The pictures will be quite sharp with enough detailing. Colors will look slightly faded but its way better than I expected. Also at night the shots came out better than my Lumia 730 smartphone which is one of the best in low light. Anyway ,this isn’t the best camera out there.●Front camera also uses a 13MP sensor but with a smaller aperture of f/1.9 so the low light performance wont be as good as the back camera. But trust me, for selfies these are way better than most phones.●It uses a 3300 mAh battery which I find little smaller considering its big display. Anyway I was amazed to see a full day battery backup. I mean even with full day of social app usage, email ,youtube and all ,The battery was still at 30% remaining.Which is just amazing.●It comes with Accelerometer, Fingerprint sensor, Gyro sensor, Geomagnetic sensor, Light sensor, Proximity sensors.●So it supports VR headset and youtube 360. Automatic brightness ,compass etc.●The fingerprint is in the front and it is blazing fast to unlock your phone.NOTE: There is another Identical device named samsung ON max which is exclusively sold on the other shopping website.(name starts with F ,I can’t mention the name ,otherwise this review will not even see the light of day)●●●THINGS SOME USERS MAY NOT LIKE●●● It doesn’t come with a snapdragon chipset like most Indian smartphones.●Small battery for gamers. It will drain battery very quickly if you do extensive gaming with it because of its big power hungry display.●Expensive when compared with other options like Moto G5 plus .●No gorilla glass protection. Screen will get scratches easily. So please invents in a screen guard or tempered glass. Thanks for reading.I hope my review helps making your purchase decision.[…].RegardsAJ

The new J-series phones sport all-metal unibody design and are sleek. The big displays certainly mean that it won’t be easy to use the phones with just one hand, and we felt it during our limited time with the handsets. The Samsung Galaxy J7 Max and Galaxy J7 Pro measure 8.1mm and 7.8mm respectively.Samsung Galaxy J7 Max : ©The Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro, on the other hand, features a 5.5-inch full-HD Super AMOLED display, and is powered by an Exynos 7870 octa-core SoC clocked at 1.6GHz paired with 3GB of RAM. It offers 64GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded using a microSD card (up to 128GB). The smartphone packs a 3600mAh battery and is IP54 certified for being splash proof.Cons point :Camera quality is actually pretty rubbish. Grossly over sharpened images. Samsung should release a firmware for all its Smartphones that Carry this identical or similar camera module and reduce the over sharpening substantially. They can improve the photo quality by a lot by merely reducing the over sharpenSome IMP points to buy1. Great Battery LifeA good battery life is one of the driving forces behind any phone and the Samsung Galaxy J7 Max is the ideal example. The 3300mAh Li-Ion battery unit is built to see you through an entire day — and even more in case you’re a casual user2. Good ProcessorThough the Galaxy J7 Max is powered by a MediaTek octa-core processor, it manages to pull off every task with ease.3. Upgraded SoftwareThe Galaxy J7 Max is one of the first budget phones from Samsung to have launched with Android Nougat. The mid-range devices like the Galaxy C7 Pro and the Galaxy A5, launched earlier this year, came packed with Android Marshmallow.4.Read more ›
